DIVIDEND ARISTOCRAT
Firm which has continuously raised the amount of dividends being paid to its shareholders. To be considered such, a company must have increased dividends and a managed dividend policy that escalated its dividend every year for at least 25 years. Such aristocrats that are able to keep high dividend yields are considered more stable than others. The list of dividend aristocrats is often under 100 firms since stocks maintaining this association must retain its yields consistently high.
