DOMESTIC CORPORATION
Company conducting its business in its home country. Frequently taxed differently than foreign companies, such corporations may be required to pay duties or fees for importing its goods. A domestic corporation usually conduct business in other states or parts of the country where it has submitted its articles of incorporation. Opposite of foreign corporations.
