DOUBLE NET LEASE
Agreement in which the tenant has the responsibility of paying both property taxes and premiums for the building’s insurance. Commonly seen in commercial real estate, it passes more expenses along through insurance payments. But the landlord is still responsible for maintenance costs. Each month, the owner receives the base rent and additional payments.
