EMBLEMENTS
Crops cultivated annually considered as the tenant’s property. Once a tenant loses ownership on the land, he is still entitled to raising the crops and harvesting them. If the land is passed to someone else because the tenant dies, the crops will belong to the tenant’s inheritors. If the crops are annual but did not mandate labor by the tenant or not annual, these are not considered emblements.
