EMBEZZLEMENT
White-collar crime in which an individual misappropriates the assets entrusted to him. The embezzler obtains the assets lawfully and is given the authority to take those, but are used instead for unintended purposes. Embezzlement is a breach of the fiduciary duties placed upon the individual.
