ENERGY IMPROVEMENT MORTGAGE
Mortgage setting money aside for home improvements which will increase energy efficiency within a home. These are available when a home is purchased or refinanced. A certified home energy rater will assess the home and suggest improvements. Once the improvements have been made and validated, the lender will repay the expenses to the borrower from an escrow account.
