ENTITY-PURCHASE AGREEMENT
Business succession plan used by firms with more than one owner. The plan entails purchasing life insurance policies on the lives of all the owners for the amount equal to each owner’s interest. Should one of the owners pass away, the firm will use the money collected from the insurance, equivalent to the deceased owners stakes, to pay the deceased’s estate for its business shares.
