EQUIPMENT TRUST CERTIFICATE
Debt instrument allowing a firm to own an asset and pay for it over time. This is secured by the equipment or physical assets since the title for the machinery is being held in trust for the holders. Once the debt is paid off, the equipment belongs to the issuer because the title is transferred to the firm.
