EQUITY UNIT INVESTMENT TRUST
Registered trust in which investors buy units from a fixed portfolio of equities and administered by a professional money manager. Securities in this trust are being held for the entire life of the trust, most frequently within a year. At that point, it can either be liquidated at market value or renegotiate into a newer and present version of the trust.
