ESTOPPEL
Legal defense tool used when an individual breaks or reverse a previous agreement or claim. It prevents an individual from stating something contrary to a claim made or action done by that person previously. It aims to prevent people from being unjustly wronged by inconsistencies of another individual’s statements or acts.
