Sub-index gauging the overall consumer sentiments toward the short-term future economic condition and used to gather around 60% of the Consumer Confidence Index, a broadly-used economic indicator. It is a collated data from a survey of 5,000 households about projected business and employment situations, and also expected income in the future.
