EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING - EGM
Separate meeting, aside from the annual general meeting, between a firm’s shareholders, executives, and any other members aimed to either approve a proposed transaction, cancel deferred shares, or deal with an urgent matter. Normally, such meetings are called on short notice.
