GAMMA
Rate of change for delta with respect to the underlying asset’s price. It measures the convexity of a derivative’s value relative to the underlying futures. In a delta-hedge strategy, gamma is trimmed to maintain a hedge over a wider price range. However, by reducing gamma, the alpha is reduced, too.
