Organization of the world’s top gas producers formed to represent and promote their common interests. Established in 2001, its members collectively hold 67% of the proved natural gas reserves worldwide. It aims to elevate the degree of coordinator and strengthen collaboration among the members. The member countries are Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela. Iraq, the Netherlands, and Norway are the observer members.
