GENERAL COLLATERAL FINANCING TRADES - GCF
Repurchase agreement executed without designating specific securities as collateral unit until close to the end of the trading day. It utilizes several Inter-Dealer Brokers, serving as intermediaries for the GCF trades. It allows both borrowers and lenders in the repo market to decrease their costs and cut down complexity of handling securities and fund transfers for repo agreement.
