GENERAL PARTNER
Owners/members of a partnership with endless liability. Also commonly called a managing partner, the individual is active in the daily operations of the business. Any partner can act on behalf of the entire business without the knowledge or consent of the fellow partners. Hence, it gives poor asset protection. The partner is also responsible for the business’ debts or obligations.
