GENERATIONAL ACCOUNTING
Accounting method considering how prevailing fiscal policies influence future generations. It evaluates if government expenditures and tax program benefiting current society members will generate an unfair tax obligation for future generations. It aims to attain generational balance, in which present and future generations have the same lifetime tax rates, allowing fiscal sustainability.
