GLOBAL STRATEGIC PETROLEUM RESERVES - GSPR
Crude oil inventories held by countries or private industries to prepare for future energy crises. The reserves are allocated to give economic and national security in case of an energy crises. Countries partaking in the GSPR and International Energy Agency (IEA) members are awaited to have on reserve an amount of oil equivalent to or higher than 90 days worth of the past year’s net imports.
