GROUND LEASE
Agreement, normally lasts for 10 years and above, in which a tenant or rented is permitted to develop a portion of the property during the lease term, after which the land all improvements are rendered to the property owner. It denotes the property owner will own the improvement unless a creation has been made. The tenant will also pay all relevant taxes incurred during the lease term. Also called land lease.
