Firm generating significant positive cash flows or earnings, which grows at a faster pace than the overall economy. Such firms tend to have very profitable reinvestment opportunities for its own retained earnings. Normally, it renders little or no dividends to stockholders, choosing instead to plow most or all of its profits back into expanding business.
