Graph showing the change in value of an initial $10,000 investment within a time period. It is normally used to compare the returns from several investments, either against each other or an underlying benchmark. The returns showed in the chart include reinvestment of dividends and capital gains, but not fees and sales charges. Mutual funds extensively use growth of 10,000 charts as part of their marketing information.
