IFO BUSINESS CLIMATE SURVEY
Key monthly survey gauging the business climate in Germany. A broadly followed survey, it is an early indicator of the condition of the German economy. It is based on around 7,000 monthly survey responses from companies in construction, manufacturing, retail, and wholesale. Being the biggest economy in the European Union, the country’s business climate has implications for the entire European Union.
