IMPERFECT COMPETITION
Market that does not adhere to strict rules of perfect competition. A perfect competition denotes the following: no supplier can affect prices, barriers to entry and exit are little, all suppliers offer the same products, huge number of suppliers and buyers, and available details on pricing and process. Types of imperfect competition are oligopoly, monopoly, oligopsony, monopolistic competition, and monopsony.
