IMPLIED CONTRACT
Legal substitute for a contract, which emerges from conduct, assumed intentions, and some relationship among parties involved but is not spoken or written. This contract is assumed to have been written. There is no written record nor any actual verbal agreement in this case. One form of implied contract is an implied warranty. When a product is bought, there is a guarantee that product will serve its purpose. For instance, a refrigerator’s purpose is to keep food cool.
