IMPRESSION
Measures the display of an advertisement on a website. Used in banner advertising, it is often being paid on a per impression basis. These are frequently gauged by Cost Per Mille (CPM), where one mille is equal to 1,000 impressions. The more impressions an ad gets, the more possibility a user will click on the ad.
