INSIDE QUOTE
Best bid and ask prices offered to trade a security among the competing investors. Similar to the bid-ask spread, it refers to the prices themselves at which an order will be done. For a sell order, an order will be placed at the inside bid price. For a buy order, it will be placed at the inside ask price.
