Established in 1941, IIA confers the prestigious certified internal auditor (CIA) designation. The association has a global headquarters in Altamonte Springs, Florida and more than 180,000 members from 103 institutes and 153 chapters in the United States, Canada, Bermuda, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, and the Caribbean.
