INTERIM STATEMENT
Public financial report covering less than a year, for instance, a quarterly report. It used to deliver the company’s performance before the year ends. Unlike annual statements, these statements need not to be audited. This increases communication between companies and the public, and give investors latest information between annual reporting periods. Also called interim report.
