INTERMARKET SPREAD SWAP
Swap transaction that capitalizes on a yield disparity between bond market sectors. These swaps are based upon anticipations of yield spreads between several bond sectors or spots on the yield curve. By entering a swap, parties can be exposed to the underlying bonds without directly holding the securities.
