INTERNAL CLAIM
Claim by the creditor limited to the business’ assets. Liability for the claim emerges out of the business itself. Business owners work to safeguard their assets from creditor’s claims against the business. Creditors’ claims should not touch the business owners’ assets as long as the company is legally established and treated as an entity segregated from its owners.
