INTERNATIONAL BETA
A gauge of the systematic risk or volatility of a stock or portfolio with respect to the global market instead of evaluating the domestic market. Also called global beta, its concept is especially pertinent to the case of huge multinational companies with global operations whose shares are closely tied to global equity index.
