INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING - ICB
In financing, a bidding process that obliges the borrower to attain resources financed by its loan based on numerous conditions. ICB mandates World Bank borrowers to globally promote the mandated goods or services financed by their loans, release bids for advertisement in an acceptable foreign language, and give contracts to the lowest passable bids, subject to some considerations for qualitative judgment.
