INVESTED CAPITAL
Total amount of money invested into a company by bondholders, shareholders, and all other interested parties. It is often determined by adding the total debt and lease obligations to the amount of equity in the corporation and deducting the non-operating cash and investments. There are several ways to compute the invested capital but it won’t be included on the firm’s financial statement.
