INVESTMENT CANADA ACT - ICA
A legislation designed to review significant investments made in Canada by non-Canadians to ensure it would benefit the country. It regulates non-Canadian who acquire control of existing Canadian businesses or establish new businesses in the country. Such individuals or entities must submit a notification or an application for review.
