A client information form used by registered investment advisors and other asset managers which helps in knowing the optimal portfolio mix for him or her. The survey may come in the form of a questionnaire, where the individual will be asked on details such as present liquid and new worth, investing time horizon, capital appreciation, risk aversion, income and expense levels, planned bequeathments and/or charitable contributions, and restraints on security selection. Also known as objective.
