INVESTMENT PROPERTY
A real estate property that is purchased specifically to generate return on the investment, either through future resale of the property, rental income, or both. It can be either a long-term endeavor such as an apartment building or a short-term investment where for instance, the property is bought, renovated or remodeled, and sold at a gain.
