INVESTOR
An individual who commits capital to investment vehicles and expects financial returns. Generally speaking, investors’ primary concern is to minimize risk while maximizing returns. They utilize their investments to increase the money and/or generate income during retirement such as annuity. There are various investment vehicles such as bonds, stocks, commodities, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), mutual funds, futures, options, foreign exchange, real estate, and retirement plans, among others. Investors also employ technical and/or fundamental analysis to identify favorable investment opportunities.
