INVISIBLE ASSETS
An item of value that is intangible and invisible such as brand recognition and intellectual property including copyrights, trademarks, or patents. These are assets that are not seen or touched, which appears in a corporation’s balance sheet, as well as concessions, research and development costs, goodwill, licenses, patents, and trademarks. Also known as intangible assets.
