INVITATION FOR BID - IFB
A process where a company or an organization gives an in-depth detailed project specifications and lets contractors to present their proposals that denotes how much the project will cost to finish it. IFB focuses on the bidder’s price to complete a project and gives less emphasis on the bidder’s own ideas. Sealed bids are opened at the predetermined time and recorded. A contract will be awarded to the best bid. Also known as request for quote.
