IRON CONDOR
An advanced options strategy that combines two vertical spreads. This is formed by holding a long and short position in two different strangle strategies. A strangle is made by buying or selling a call option and a put option with several strike prices but similar expiration date. The possibility of a profit or a loss is limited because an offsetting strangle is placed around two options that comprise the strangle at the middle strike price.
