JAMES J. HECKMAN
An American economist and recipient of the 2000 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics, together with American econometrician Daniel McFadden, for his Heckman correction, a statistical technique of correcting for self-correction bias in research. Heckman also did research on labor economics and human development, as well as skill formation especially on early childhood development.
