JOHN BATES CLARK MEDAL
A medal awarded to an American economist who is younger than 40 years old and has made significant contributions to economic thought and knowledge. The Clark Medal is one of the most distinguished awards in economics that is given annually by the American Economic Association. Unlike the Nobel Memorial Prize, the medal is never rendered to more than one economist in the same year.
