KENNETH ARROW
An American economist and Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics awardee, along with John Hicks in 1972, for pioneering contributions to general equilibrium analysis and welfare theory. He is also known as one of the first few economists to recognize learning curve. His other research focuses on the following: social choice theory, endogenous growth theory, collective decision making, the economics of information, and the economics of racial discrimination, among others.
