KIJUN LINE

The middle point between the highest high price and lowest low price of a certain security. Also called kijun-sen, it acts as its base line, particularly in ichimoku kinko hyo or ichimoku cloud candlestick charts. It is one of two moving average lines produced by the system and this is a 26-period moving average. It is used together with tenkan-sen, a nine-period moving average. When the tenkan line crosses and moves above the kijun line, it is generally considered a bullish signal.
