A government-owned corporation of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), which is primarily established in the Kuwait Investment Board in 1953. It aims to generate funds for future use and lessen its dependence on oil reserves. The funds came from extra proceeds from the nation’s oil reserves. KIA manages Kuwait’s sovereign wealth fund and invests in local and international markets. Their office is situated in Kuala Lumpur while their branch offices are located in Beijing and London.
