LAYERED FEES
Two different sets of management fees being paid by an investor for the similar assets. The practice is done in several investment vehicles like mutual funds, registered investment advisor client accounts, variable annuities, and wrap funds. The fees, stated in the prospectus, should be avoided by traders most of the time.
