LESSER-DEVELOPED COUNTRY - LDC
A country that is considered underdeveloped in areas of economy, infrastructure, and industrial base. Usually, LDCs are poor and unmodernized. A lesser-developed country’s population has a low standard of living, due to having low incomes and abounding poverty. Many African and Arab nations belong to this classification.
