LETTERS PATENT
A legal instrument issued by the government, which grants the entire rights to a private entity or a corporation for a new invention. The letter states the right to authorship or to put patent in a newly found invention or discovery. The new invention provides alternative way of doing another thing or a new solution. It is not sealed, and open for public viewing at the patent and trademark office.
