LIKE-FOR-LIKE SALES
Comparing this year’s sales figures and last year’s sales figures in a company, taking into consideration all of the activities that took place during those periods. Expansion, merger or acquisition, launching of a new product, or any other events that enlarge the firm’s sales are excluded in the valuation method. Represented as a percentage of growth or dip in sales, this can be done in several time periods such as quarterly and yearly.
