LIMITED RISK
An investment risk with a predetermined maximum downside potential, normally the initial amount invested. Prior to entering the position, investors are exposed to situations where they are aware of the maximum level of loss they might suffer. It includes securities that move on the other side than the protected asset, hence the potential loss is finite.
